The Reconnect Program funded by the Commonwealth Department of Family and Community Services is an early intervention outreach program which targets young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness by reconnecting them with their family, education, training or employment options and the broader community. The program operates in partnership with government agencies such as Centrelink and the welfare sector with the aim of improving the local coordination of services for young people. Currently we have two Reconnect programs - Townsville and Thuringowa
